Samer is a farming village situated 8 miles from southeast of Boulogne-sur-Mer the largest fishing port in France. There is plenty to see and do whilst staying here at The Samer house.

A short drive from Samer, you find the small lively market town of Desvres. Montreuil-sur-mer a medieval port inland from le Touquet, is within easy reach. The old ramparts of Montreuil, look out over the valley of the river Canche towards the sea at Etaples. Le Touquet which is close by has a reputation as the most elegant resort of northern France, the playground of rich Parisians.

There are three Golf Courses close to Boulogne-sur-Mer, Wimereux Golf Course Golf Du Touquet and Golf de’la Saint-Omer.
